Essential Question: How do hurricanes form?
1. Warm Up: Question of the Day, How do hurricanes form? What makes them grow? What makes them get smaller?
2. Bill Nye Storms
- On the next blank page in your science notebook, write the heading: Bill Nye Storms and the date
- Divide the page into six evenly sized sections by drawing a vertical line down the middle of the page and two horizontal lines across the page
- In two of the sections, write things you heard in the video that you already knew
- In two of the sections, write things you learn from the video that you didn't know
- In one section, write a question about something from the video
- In one section, draw a picture of something from the video
3. Ticket Out: Share your notes at your table and decide on one question that you will share with the class.
